We are hiring a Manager to lead financial controlling activities with a focus on accounting, financial operations, and financial compliance across international entities. This role requires strategic oversight, adherence to diverse regulatory frameworks, and proactive adaptation to evolving global accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, US GAAP, German GAAP).
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Reporting:
-Prepare and review financial statements for overseas entities, ensuring alignment with IFRS and local standards.
-Perform and manage financial postings, reconciliations, and system updates.
Financial Operations:
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline local financial processes and cross-border financial processes, including AP/AR and GL.
Financial Compliance:
-Ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal control requirements.
-Monitor compliance with local accounting standards and group policies.
-Proactively research, interpret, and implement new/updated GAAP requirements.
Team Collaboration:
-Partner with local finance team, reporting, treasury and tax teams, internal and external auditors to resolve discrepancies and optimize workflows.
Strategic Input:
-Advise the management on risks, controls, and efficiency improvements.
Other related duties as assigned or requested.
Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
-5–7 years of progressive experience in financial controlling/audit, including Big Four and MNC experience (Senior level or Manager level).
-Knowledge in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and data analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau).
-Track record in managing multinational programs.
-Willingness to learn and apply new GAAP frameworks and new ERP systems.
-Flexibility to work shifts/overtime to coordinate with global teams.
Preferred Qualifications
-CPA/ACCA/CMA certification.
-Master’s degree in Finance or MBA.
-Fluency in English and Mandarin; additional languages (e.g., German) are a plus.
