Design and development of industrial automation products using Solid works / CAD Design, draft, prepare drawings , BOM and release documents to PPC/manufacturing team in time. Design suitable Jigs & fixtures necessary for manufacturing. Consult with PPC/Production teams during product manufacturing, advising them on design specifications and providing physical assistance when required Provide necessary technical details to marketing/ sales and service team. Interact with various departments and bring out the projects successfully . Provide installation team with necessary details for successful Erection & commissioning of projects at site. Visit projects site periodically to ensure work progress as per the design requirement. Estimate project cost, cost of design, manufacturing, installation, etc ., and to control cost within estimated budget. Conduct CFT reviews on projects and provide report on works in progress in Design, Manufacturing and site. Organize Prototype design for products that requires in-house testing and validation. Research competitor products and collaborate with design team to generate new ideas to make our products the best. Appraise the team ,assess gaps and coordinate with HR dept for training to improve the knowledge . Guide and motivate th team in trouble shooting and upgrading skills.
