Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced HR - Learning & Development (L&D) Manager
with specialized expertise in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Content
Development to oversee the management and optimization of our LMS platform,
and the creation and maintenance of high-quality learning content. This role is
responsible for ensuring that all employee training activities are properly recorded in
the LMS, and will drive the creation of engaging, impactful training programs that
enhance employee learning experiences. The ideal candidate will also have
experience in the manufacturing or energy sector, as the role will involve
developing technical training content in collaboration with subject matter experts
(SMEs).
Key Responsibilities:
Learning Management System (LMS) Administration:
LMS Management: Administer and optimize the company’s Learning
Management System (LMS) to ensure seamless delivery of online learning
experiences for employees.
User Support & Training: Provide training and support to employees and
managers on using the LMS. Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure
system functionality aligns with training needs.
System Integration: Work closely with IT teams to integrate the LMS with
other HR and business systems for seamless data sharing and reporting.
Content Upload & Tracking: Manage the efficient upload and organization of
learning content within the LMS. Ensure that course materials, assessments,
and certifications are properly organized, accessible, and up-to-date.
Timely Recording of Trainings: Ensure that all employee trainings—whether
instructor-led, virtual, or e-learning—are accurately and promptly recorded in
the LMS, maintaining up-to-date training records for all employees.
Reporting & Analytics: Track and generate reports on course enrollment,
completion rates, learner progress, and other LMS metrics to assess training
engagement and effectiveness.
Content Development & Management:
Content Creation & Liaison with SMEs: Collaborate closely with in-house
subject matter experts (SMEs) to build detailed content outlines and develop
technical training content as needed. Ensure that the content is tailored to the
needs of different teams and aligns with organizational objectives.
Content Development: Develop high-quality, engaging, and interactive
training materials such as e-learning modules, videos, assessments, and
guides that are hosted on the LMS.
Content Curation: Curate third-party and internal learning content that is
aligned with employee development needs and business objectives.
Content Maintenance: Regularly update and refresh content to ensure its
relevance and alignment with business goals. Maintain a structured content
library for easy access and retrieval.
Instructional Design: Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to
design and develop instructional materials that cater to various learning styles
and organizational needs.
Quality Assurance: Review and evaluate all content for clarity, quality, and
effectiveness, ensuring alignment with learning objectives.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Learning & Development,
Education, or related field. Certification in Instructional Design or a related
field is a plus.
Experience:
o Minimum of 7-10 years in Learning & Development with significant
experience in LMS administration and content development.
o Proven experience managing and configuring LMS platforms (e.g.,
Moodle, SuccessFactors, Oracle, etc.).
o Strong background in instructional design and creating e-learning
content (using tools like Articulate, Captivate, etc.).
o Experience in the management of digital learning tools and content
delivery across a variety of formats (e.g., e-learning, video-based
learning, quizzes).
Skills:
o Advanced proficiency in LMS administration, configuration, and
troubleshooting.
o Proficiency in eLearning development tools such as Articulate
Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar.
o Strong project management skills, including content development and
course rollout.
o Analytical skills to track, measure, and report on LMS data and training
effectiveness.
o Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate
with SMEs and stakeholders effectively.
