We are a fast-growing IT Services company, specializing in DevOps, Cloud Solutions, Software Development, and AI/ML. We are looking for a passionate and capable Manager to lead project management and delivery while staying hands-on with technology.

Role Overview:

As a Manager – Project Management, Delivery & Technology, you will be responsible for managing project execution, providing strong technical leadership, ensuring security best practices, and supporting pre-sales activities. This is a leadership role with strong hands-on technology expectation.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management & Delivery

• Plan, execute, and deliver multiple projects simultaneously across Development, DevOps, Cloud, and AI/ML streams.
• Create detailed project plans, resource plans, and risk management strategies.
• Monitor project performance, manage schedules, and ensure timely delivery with quality standards.
• Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and stand-ups.
• Maintain project documentation and status reporting for internal and client communication.

Technical Supervision & Hands-on Contribution

• Act as the technical mentor and escalation point for project teams (developers, DevOps engineers, cloud engineers, AI/ML teams).
• Conduct regular code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, architecture design, and security practices.
• Guide and support teams in architectural decisions, technology stack selection, and technical problem-solving.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and ensure best practices are implemented across projects.

Security Management and Compliance

• Integrate security best practices throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps processes.
• Review and enforce secure coding standards and vulnerability mitigation strategies.
• Work with teams to implement security controls on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) including identity management, access control, encryption, and monitoring.
• Lead periodic security reviews, penetration testing support, and audit readiness.
• Ensure compliance with relevant security frameworks, data privacy regulations, and client-specific standards (such as ISO 27001, GDPR, etc., if applicable).

Client Engagement & Delivery Excellence

• Work directly with clients to gather requirements, define scope, and manage project expectations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for project updates, escalations, and change requests.
• Build trusted relationships with clients through transparent communication and value-driven delivery.

Pre-Sales & Solutioning Support

• Collaborate with the Sales team during pre-sales cycles.
• Participate in requirement gathering calls, solution designing, effort estimation, and proposal creation.
• Create Proof of Concepts (POCs) or demo solutions when needed to support sales pursuits.
• Present technical solutions and project execution approaches to prospective clients.

Team Development and People Management

• Assist in hiring and building strong project teams as per business needs.
• Mentor, coach, and upskill team members on technical, project management, and security best practices.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, security, and accountability.
• Set clear goals and expectations for team members; track and review individual and team performance against objectives.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and drive career development plans.
• Identify high performers and future leaders, while also addressing performance gaps through improvement plans.

Technical Skills Required:

• Strong understanding of:
• Software Development (Java, Python, Node.js, or similar)
• DevOps (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines)
• Cloud Services (AWS, Azure, GCP – infrastructure, application hosting, security)
• Knowledge of secure software development and cloud security principles.
• Familiarity with code quality, application security, and compliance practices.
• Basics of AI/ML project execution (preferred).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 8–12 years of experience in IT services/consulting with at least 5 years in project management and technical leadership roles.
• PMP, Agile, Scrum certifications are a plus.
• Knowledge of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST) is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, client engagement, and presentation skills.
