Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• CPA required; CMA a plus

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with strong technical expertise in US GAAP and management reporting

• Public accounting experience required; combination of public and private industry (preferably in manufacturing) strongly preferred

• Experience working across global accounting teams and with culturally diverse partners

• Strong understanding of ERP and EPM systems (Oracle R12, OneStream, or similar)

• Proven ability to manage projects and collaborate across functions without direct reports

• Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-changing environment

• Able to work extended or flexible hours to collaborate with teams in different time zones

• Comfortable traveling up to 20% of the time both domestically and internationally

About the Role:

We’re looking for a Manager, Global Accounting to join our corporate accounting function and help drive key global financial initiatives. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role reporting to the Assistant Controller. While this role doesn’t have direct reports, you’ll be working cross-functionally with teams around the world—so strong collaboration, influence, and initiative are essential.

This position is ideal for someone with a mix of public accounting and industry experience (ideally in manufacturing) who thrives in a project-based, fast-paced environment. You’ll play a key role in strengthening the global controllership framework, partnering with regional teams, and helping refine global close and reporting processes.

The Global Accounting Manager reports to the Global Assistant Controller and is responsible for the integrity of our financial statements including the timely and accurate submission of monthly results in compliance with US GAAP and is supporting all aspects of our control environment throughout the world.

We are seeking a hands-on manager with a 7+ year track record of success, who is comfortable with both US GAAP and management reporting. This position is responsible for accounting close at headquarters, global consolidation activities and working with regional controllership staff to drive global team initiatives. The ideal candidate will exhibit the highest degree of ethics, a bias for action, and organizational aptitude via working seamlessly across cultures in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive global accounting initiatives in partnership with finance teams across the globe

• Support controllership efforts and internal controls across multiple locations

• Collaborate cross-functionally with regional accounting teams to improve close processes and financial reporting

• Contribute to the evolution of a newly implemented EPM system (OneStream – live as of January)

• Act as a key player in corporate accounting initiatives; help shape process improvement projects globally

• Influence stakeholders and drive change without direct authority

• Step in during periods of transition or turnover in global regions to support close and reporting processes
