Join our dynamic Finance Operations team where you'll lead strategic initiatives that shape the future of Amazon's financial processes while collaborating with diverse teams across the globe. Key job responsibilities
* Guide and nurture a team of accounts receivable analysts while fostering a supportive and inclusive environment
* Develop and implement scalable financial processes that enhance operational efficiency
* Create and maintain partnerships with business stakeholders to support strategic initiatives
* Analyze financial data and prepare comprehensive reports with actionable insights
* Design and implement process improvements to optimize team performance
* Work hand-in-hand with cross functional team of accounts receivable (AR) analysts in collaboration with upstream business, operations and technology teams to integrate scalable end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes and solutions.
* Leverage data from numerous databases and internal tools (using Excel, SQL, or other data management systems) to perform reporting and analysis.

Your day might include mentoring team members, participating in stakeholder meetings, reviewing performance metrics, and implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
About the team
We are Amazon's Finance Operations Services organization, ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions for North American Business Channels. Our team combines analytical expertise with collaborative problem-solving to support Amazon's growing business operations. We're committed to innovation and continuous improvement in our financial processes.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
* 5+ years of directly managing and leading a team of 5+ members experience
* 3+ years of advanced proficiency in Excel (pivots, lookups, etc.) experience
* 3+ years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience
* 3+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
* 3+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
* 3+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* 4+ years of mentoring junior finance and/or business team members experience
* 3+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
* 3+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
* 3+ years of working with senior staff (e.g. c-suite) experience
* MBA, or CPA
