The Maintenance Manager will manage supervisory positions responsible for process, packaging, utility, and parts, ammonia refrigeration, wastewater, HVAC, electrical distribution, hydraulics, high- and low-pressure air and high- and low-pressure water. This employee will also direct and plan the maintenance activities of process related activities including mixing, forming, frying, freezing and packaging equipment. A strong candidate for this role will be able to work successfully with various moving mechanical parts, food fumes, airborne particles, extreme cold, extreme heat, and loud noise levels.

Accountabilities

  • Ensure facility and equipment reliability over the entire Appleton site, both the manufacturing facility and corporate offices (multiple buildings on the same site)
  • Help manage capital projects from design concept through project completion
  • Ensure buildings are maintained and compliant with company standards and those specified by auditing and/or regulatory agencies
  • Plan and execute the department headcount and budget
  • Supervise, motivate, train, and discipline employees according to company policies
  • Lead the Emergency Response Team
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional organizations

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in a related technical field, Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred
  • At least 10 years of experience in maintenance with 5 years spent in a supervisory and/or management capacity with budget management experience

Compensation Package: $95,000-130,000.00 USD annually + bonus eligibility

The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education/training, and other organizational needs.
