The description below is for Sr. position. We will hire Sr. and Jr. Engineers in İstanbul.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in UNIX/Linux administration,
• Technical knowledge needed to ensure safe, effective, and efficient changes to the network and systems infrastructure,
• Writing scripts skills using at least one language (shell, perl, python),
• Preferred experience in cluster technologies and high availability systems,
• Experience working with Tomcat, Apache, haproxy webservers,
• Experience in solving complex problems and ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously,
• Strong analysis, investigation and troubleshooting skill,
• Good written and spoken English language.

Additional skills considered as an advantage:

• Experience deploying and orchestrating containers (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.),
• Experience with public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP),
• Knowledge of Java programming language,
• Understanding high-performance, high-throughput and low-latency network technologies,
• Knowledge of Oracle/Postgres RDMS.

Responsibilities:

• Deployment, configuration, implementation and troubleshooting on Unix/Linux infrastructure,
• Registration and resolution of service requests, incidents and problems,
• Communicating with client and vendor engineers,
• Responsible for overall availability and health of SAS environment, performing system monitoring, log analysis, performance analysis, performance tuning, capacity planning and troubleshooting any system related issues,
• Administer SAS platform by controlling security, accessibility, connections to data sources,
• Collaborate with SAS Technical Support to implement patches, upgrades or configuration changes,
• Collaborate with storage, server, LDAP, database and other IT administrators to support ongoing operations for meeting the business needs via the SAS environment,
• Work with cross functional data scientist teams to create, implement, and deploy business solutions as needed.
