The Learning Content Writer & Coordinatorwill help with the facilitation and coordination of a newly launched AOD Traineeship Program and write content for e-learning and training courses.

This role will involve understanding the learning needs by liaising with subject matter experts across the organisation and researching and writing content for e-learning and training courses.

  • Facilitate, coordinate and support the training needs of Windana’s AOD Clinician Trainees.
  • Work effectively with partnership agencies regarding the AOD Traineeship Program to provide coordinated training needs.
  • Support the operations team by writing content for e-learning courses and training sessions.
  • Work collaboratively with the Organisational Development and Learning Manager and other stakeholders to ensure training content aligns with organisational priorities and operational needs.
  • Plan and develop learning content using a structured project management approach.
  • Design learning content that reflects sector standards and integrates Windana’s policies, values, and model of care.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, leaders, and employees to co-create learning content.

What We're Looking For

  • Ideally 2+ years’ experience working within Community Services, Healthcare, AOD or Mental health sector.
  • Mentorship/teaching/research experience through formal or informal settings.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including active listening skills to assess training needs and design tailored learning solutions.
  • Ability to research and write high-quality learning content for the organisation.
  • IT savvy and proficient with Microsoft’s Suite of programs, including Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Ideally pursuing or completed a tertiary degree in Psychology, Behavioural Science, Adult Education or Training and Assessment, Public Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs, Mental Health or a related discipline.
