Summary

We’re looking for a Marketing Capability Manager to join our dynamic team and help us take our marketing efforts to the next level.


As a Marketing Capability Manager, you will have the opportunity to make an impact by enabling the Marketing teams to achieve their business objectives through project management, process development and improvement, technology adoption and implementation, and capability development.


Key Responsibilities:

Operational Excellence

  • Identifies gaps in the operations in collaboration with Marketing Unit Heads and recommends process and system improvements to achieve business objectives and effectively capture and share marketing information.
  • Reviews Marketing programs and projects; facilitates the prioritization and selection of projects based on business objectives and resources.
  • Partners with Subject Matter Experts/Consultants with regard to facilitating planning sessions and developing change management and communication plan concerning the changes in the marketing strategy, processes, and structure.


Information Systems Management

  • Identifies and recommends marketing technologies to be adopted by the organization and ensures their alignment with business goals.
  • Spearheads information systems projects (from conceptualization to execution) and liaises with Information Systems and other related units with regard to articulating issues and opportunities and in reviewing, designing, evaluating, and testing of new marketing tools and technologies to address the gaps and achieve goals.
  • Ensures proper maintenance and utilization of the recommended marketing information systems.


Capability Development

  • Recommends and implements a strategy for assessing and developing marketing competencies in close coordination and partnership with the unit heads of Marketing.
  • Develops a curriculum to address competency gaps and address new skill requirements (i.e., redefined job scope and introduction of a new system, technology, or marketing tool)
  • Facilitates workshops and conducts coaching sessions covering key Marketing competencies.
  • Evaluates effectiveness of Capability Development programs through post-competency assessments and identified feedback mechanisms.


What we're looking for:

  • Graduate of Marketing, Business Administration, or any related course. Preferably with advanced units or post-graduate degree (e.g., MBA, etc.) and training
  • With at least 5 years managerial experience in Marketing Operations in an FMCG company
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools and Marketing Analytics platforms, is required.
  • With experience in learning and development or training
  • With advanced skills in Brand Strategy Development & Planning, Brand Equity, Brand Activation, Integrated Marketing Communications, Consumer Insight and New Product Development
  • Proficient in Category & Channel Planning, Data Analysis & Management, Shopper Insight, Financial Awareness & Brand Profitability, Forecasting, Digital Marketing, and Project Management
  • With working knowledge in Distributor Management and Key Account Management
  • Willing to work in Ortigas office. Role is under a hybrid work arrangement
