JOB TITLE: Lead Technical Consultant

DEPARTMENT: SAP Delivery DES

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 8-11 Years

LOCATION: Hyderabad/ Pune/ Hybrid

Role Overview

The Lead Technical Consultant will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical solutions in SAP environments, with a focus on Core ABAP, Cross Applications, Fiori developments, and S/4HANA technologies. The role demands strong technical expertise, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to mentor and support a team while staying abreast of emerging SAP technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of technical consultants, providing guidance, mentoring, and support. Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for complex technical issues, offering solutions and best practices. Monitor team performance, ensure adherence to project timelines, and facilitate technical training.
• Design, develop, and enhance custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, and workflows. Ensure coding standards and best practices are followed across all developments.
• Work on SAP Cross Applications, including ALE, IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and other integration technologies. Develop and troubleshoot complex integrations between different SAP modules and external systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in standard and custom Fiori applications. Extend standard Fiori apps by developing custom OData services and integrating with back-end SAP systems.
• Develop and optimize CDS views, AMDP, and OData services for S/4HANA projects. Work with Adobe Forms, Smart Forms, and SAP script to create and enhance print forms. Debug and resolve issues in S/4HANA environments, ensuring smooth operations and performance.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions. Encourage team members to pursue learning opportunities in new SAP technologies and methodologies. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence within the team.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies, tools, and best practices. Proactively explore and suggest new technical areas to leverage for business opportunities.
  
  

Skills

• Strong understanding of SAP WM/EWM processes and technical configurations (good to have).
• Experience in handling SAP migration projects, especially to S/4HANA.
• Core ABAP, Cross Application, Adobe forms, S4 Hana Concepts
• Tools: ADT
• Proficiency in SAP debugging and performance optimization.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• A proactive approach to learning and applying new technologies.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  
  

Certifications

• Relevant to S4 HANA Developer roles will be added advantage.
