For our client, one of the biggest oil & gas companies, we are looking for a skilled Mechanical Lead to supervise a team of engineers in designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and components. In this role, you’ll ensure engineering work meets company standards, regulatory requirements, and project goals. You will act as a key liaison between internal teams and contractors, driving efficiency, compliance, and high-quality execution.

All applicants MUST have full legal authorization to work in the EU region independently and be fluent in both spoken and written English language.

What do we offer

• Temporary agency contract with Grafton Recruitment for the period below with possible extension
• Desired Start date: May 5 2025
• End date: December 31 2025 (possible extension)
• Salary indication depending on experience: max € 75,- gross per hour.
• There is no travel reimbursement!

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate mechanical engineering activities and deliverables
• Review contractor work for compliance with specifications and standards
• Address engineering queries and manage deviation control
• Support design reviews and promote capital efficiency
• Communicate progress and technical concerns to stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
• Strong knowledge of design codes, standards, and safety criteria
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
