This role offers a hybrid model, allowing you to work three days a week from our office in Kraków, Poland, with occasional visits to the Client office in Warsaw for planning purposes.


Responsibilities


  • Design, implement, and maintain Java-based software and applications, contributing to all stages of the software development lifecycle
  • Analyze user requirements, envision system features, and choose optimal solutions for implementation
  • Design, implement, and test web service/middleware applications using backend clusters
  • Engineer components and common services based on standard corporate development models, languages, and tools
  • Follow software engineering best practices and utilize automation for efficient solution delivery
  • Collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders


Requirements


  • 5+ years of experience in Java and regular Java tech stack
  • Hands-on experience with JavaScript, (S)CSS, HTML
  • Experience with React, TypeScript, RxJS
  • Thorough understanding of software engineering principles and lifecycle
  • Experience in implementing a reliable system
  • Familiarity with the Spring framework
  • Proficiency in SQL and relational databases
  • Understanding of REST architecture
  • Experience with unit testing using JUnit5 and Mockito
  • Ability to attend meetings between 5 pm and 7 pm each day
  • Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level


Nice to have


  • Experience with cloud technologies, specifically Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF)
  • Familiarity with Angular 6
