About the Team

Financial Markets (FM) has expertise combined with deep local market knowledge to deliver a variety of risk management, financing and investment solutions to our clients. The FM team offers capabilities across origination, structuring, sales, trading and research. FM has firmly established itself as a trusted partner with extensive on-the-ground knowledge and deep relationships by offering a full suite of fixed income, currencies, commodities, equities and capital markets solutions.

Project

As a senior developer, you'll be driving our platform forward and delivering quality solutions to business-critical customer requirements. You will collaborate in a dynamic global team with fellow technologists, business analysts, project managers, and business stakeholders across multiple locations.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a technical lead and hands-on developer in a high-performing squad working on the CAT (Client Analytics & Trading) platform.
• Lead and guide the development of the Loanshub data platform, ensuring architectural integrity and scalability.
• Design and build robust, scalable microservices and reusable frameworks with performance, observability, and security in mind.
• Ensure alignment with financial regulations and internal technology standards.
• Work with technologies such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Hazelcast, ClickHouse, Solace, HashiCorp Vault, SSO tokens, Kong.
• Implement defensive coding practices, access control, and high-quality standards to build maintainable, production-ready applications.
• Provide Level 3 production support and proactively manage resource and performance usage.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective, business-aligned solutions.
• Contribute to strategic technology decisions, mentoring team members and supporting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Mandatory Skills Description:

• 12+ years of experience in Java development, with strong expertise in Core Java, Spring and enterprise-scale systems.
• Demonstrated expertise in building high-performance, concurrent systems in Java, with a focus on scalability, resource efficiency and stability under load.
• 5+ years in Investment Banking IT or similar Financial Markets domains.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java, Concurrency and Spring Framework.
• Experience designing and implementing microservices, with exposure to container technologies (Docker preferred).
• Understanding of trading platforms or market-facing systems.
• Strong background in data processing, time-series data, and large-scale data architecture.
