About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Business Development & Market Research Intern to support our sales and outreach efforts at Tangle Design. This role blends client communication, lead generation, market analysis, and sales optimization—ideal for someone curious about business, skilled in communication, and driven by results.


What Your Role Involves

🔹 Lead Generation & Outreach

  • Identify and qualify potential clients through industry research.
  • Find contact details and conduct cold outreach via email and LinkedIn.
  • Engage with leads, explain Tangle Design’s offerings clearly, and pass qualified leads to the Business Development team.

🔹 Market Research & Business Strategy

  • Conduct deep research to uncover new business opportunities and market gaps.
  • Analyze industry trends, competitors, and client behaviors to refine positioning.
  • Contribute to developing sales decks, proposals, and presentations.

🔹 Client Engagement & Relationship Building

  • Build and nurture relationships with potential clients through consistent follow-ups.
  • Reconnect with past leads and share updates on Tangle Design’s latest services.
  • Participate in team discussions with fresh, strategic ideas for outreach and retention.

🔹 Sales Optimization & Tools

  • Explore and experiment with sales automation tools, AI-driven outreach, and lead scraping platforms.
  • Research new lead sources and optimize outreach strategies based on engagement metrics.

🔹 Tracking & Reporting

  • Maintain a structured lead tracking sheet and update it daily.
  • Report on key metrics including leads contacted, responses received, and conversion trends.
  • Share insights with the team for continuous improvement.


What We Are Looking For

  • Exceptional communication skills in English and preferably one or more regional languages.
  • Confident and persuasive in outreach, with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Curious about business, market dynamics, and growth strategies.
  • Comfortable using LinkedIn, sales tools, spreadsheets, and outreach platforms.
  • Proactive, self-driven, and capable of working independently as well as in a team.
  • Quick learner with a “figure it out” attitude and strong organizational skills.
