We are looking for an experienced Lead Data Engineer to lead and guide our growing data team. This is a strategic role where you will design scalable data infrastructure, drive technical excellence, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape our data strategy and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and optimization of scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows
• Architect and implement robust data solutions to meet business needs and ensure high performance and reliability
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and data teams to define and execute the data strategy
• Ensure data quality, governance, and security standards are met across all data operations
• Guide and mentor data engineers, promoting best practices in coding, testing, and deployment
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance, resolving complex technical challenges
• Stay updated on new technologies and recommend improvements to our data infrastructure

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• 6+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 2+ years in a lead or senior role
• Strong expertise in Python and SQL for building data pipelines and performing data analysis
• Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Snowflake)
• Deep knowledge of cloud services such as AWS (S3, Lambda, Glue) and orchestration tools like Apache Airflow
• Experience in architecting data solutions and optimizing large-scale data workflows.
• Strong understanding of data governance, security best practices, and version control systems (Git)
• Proven leadership skills, including guiding and mentoring technical teams
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong written and spoken English skills
