Lead Data Architect - Healthcare & Social Services (Hybrid, Finland)

Are you a data expert driven by purpose? I’m currently partnering with a well-established Nordic tech company that's transforming healthcare and social services with data-driven solutions and they’re now looking for a Lead Data Architect to help shape the future of their analytics platform.

🧠 The Role

As a Lead Data Architect, you’ll play a central role in building and designing solutions for a modern Lakehouse-based analytics platform that supports wellbeing and social care. You’ll work hands-on with cloud and big data tech like Azure, Databricks, and Python/SQL, while also mentoring others and influencing architectural strategy.

You’ll be part of a highly skilled, international team of experts in data engineering, cloud development, AI/ML, and product design. Together, you’ll create tools that help care professionals make faster, smarter decisions, ultimately improving lives across Finland.

🔍 We’re looking for someone who:

• Has 7+ years of experience in data architecture, cloud data platforms, or complex analytics systems
• Brings strong skills in Python, SQL, and cloud-native platforms (especially Azure, Databricks, or Spark-based solutions)
• Understands how to work with data lakes, warehouse modelling and large datasets
• Thrives in product development teams and is comfortable balancing technical hands-on work with design/architecture decisions
• Speaks Finnish and English fluently
• Experience with healthcare, social services, or public sector data is highly valued

Some on-site presence is expected, especially during onboarding, occasional client work, and when needed, but the team offers a flexible and balanced approach and most work will be hybrid/remote
