Job Title: Azure DevOps Infrastructure Engineer

Contract Duration: 1-3 Years Contract To Hire

Compensation Rate: $80/Hour W2

Onsite: 5 Days Each Week in Frisco, Texas

Due to client requirements all candidates must be USC or Green Card holders.

Role Overview

As an InfraOps Engineer, you will:

• Contribute to infrastructure design and cloud automation.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Implement security best practices, including Zero Trust Architecture.
• Troubleshoot and restore application services as needed.
• Maintain knowledge bases and run-books for operational efficiency.
• Provide limited scheduled after-hours support when required.

Key Responsibilities

Azure Expertise

• Implement Zero Trust Architecture for identity and access management (IAM) and data encryption.
• Work with Azure IaaS/PaaS services, including Application Gateway, API Management, App Service, Azure Monitor, Microsoft Sentinel, Azure DevOps, Azure Storage, and Azure Front Door.

Infrastructure & Automation

• Utilize Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
• Use Ansible for orchestration and software installation.

CI/CD & DevOps

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Ensure secure, scalable, and automated deployment processes.

Security & Compliance

• Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities in infrastructure and applications.
• Maintain compliance with FISMA HIGH, FedRAMP HIGH, and Zero Trust Architecture.

Monitoring & Observability

• Set up Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
• Create operational dashboards for proactive monitoring and alerting.

Required Qualifications

Must-Have Skills

1. 5+ years of hands-on Azure experience.
2. Strong understanding of Azure security best practices.
3. Expertise in Azure IaaS/PaaS services (e.g., Application Gateway, API Management, Azure Monitor, Microsoft Sentinel).
4. Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure automation.
5. Experience with Azure monitoring tools and operational dashboards.

Nice-to-Have Skills

1. Experience with WebLogic and Apache.
2. Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitLab.
3. Competence with Linux OS administration.
4. Strong problem-solving skills and an Agile mindset.
5. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
