Job Description:
As a Lead Audio Video Technician with Control 4, Lutron programming, and alarm activation experience, you will be responsible for installing, and maintaining comprehensive audiovisual systems while also integrating and configuring alarm systems. Your expertise in Control 4, Lutron programming, and alarm activation will be essential in delivering seamless integration and security solutions for residential and commercial clients.
Responsibilities:
Configure and integrate Control 4 and Lutron systems to provide comprehensive control of audio, video, lighting, shading, and other connected devices.
Integrate and configure alarm systems, ensuring seamless operation with the audiovisual setup.
Lead a team of technicians in the installation, termination, and calibration of audio and video equipment.
Mount displays, speakers, and other AV components ensuring optimal performance and aesthetic appeal.
Program Control 4 and Lutron systems to create intuitive user interfaces, automate system functions, and integrate with alarm systems.
Activate and test alarm systems, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to security standards.
Troubleshooting and Maintenance:
Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to audiovisual systems, Control 4 and Lutron programming, and alarm systems.
Perform routine maintenance and software updates to ensure system reliability and security.
Train clients on the operation of Control 4, Lutron, and alarm systems, ensuring they understand and can fully utilize the features.
Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely completion of projects and adherence to budget constraints.
Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in Control 4, Lutron programming, and alarm systems.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Audio Video Technician with a focus on Control 4, Lutron programming, and alarm activation.
Strong knowledge of audio and video equipment, including displays, speakers, amplifiers, and AV receivers.
Proficiency in programming Control 4 and Lutron systems, including creating custom interfaces and macros.
Experience with integrating and configuring alarm systems, such as intrusion alarms and access control.
Familiarity with networking, IP addressing, and troubleshooting network-related issues.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and team members.
Ability to lead a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
