We are looking for a Lead Application Support Analyst to join our Global Support team, ensuring operational excellence across 10 countries and three time zones. In this role, you will be responsible for IT system stability, governance, and automation, supporting a 24/5 global operation.
Responsibilities
Ensure system availability and provide fast, effective responses to IT issues
Lead the proactive governance of Global Research Applications, ensuring compliance with IT best practices
Oversee release management, including patches, bug fixes and configuration changes
Foster a culture of knowledge-sharing, documentation and cross-training
Mentor and develop team members, driving collaboration and high performance
Act as a bridge between Business, Technology and Functional teams to ensure seamless platform connectivity
Provide incident, problem and release management updates to stakeholders
Leverage automation to optimize system performance and improve operational efficiency
Drive IT governance and de-risking initiatives to maintain security and compliance
Requirements
Expertise in Unix & SQL, ensuring robust system management and troubleshooting
Strong ITIL service management background, including incident, change and production management
Proven leadership experience with the ability to mentor and support teams
Strong problem-solving skills with a structured and detail-oriented approach
Excellent communication skills to engage with global teams and stakeholders
A proactive mindset, always looking for opportunities to improve efficiency and security
Flexibility to work across a 24-hour support timeline, ensuring continuous IT operations
