Responsibilities:

This role serves as a bridge between junior support and senior Tech Ops positions, providing an opportunity for growth and development in the field of digital asset platforms. This should cover the above, plus:

• Work to improve processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to drive continual improvement of platform quality and consistency.
• Work closely with internal teams, including infrastructure, development, and operations, to support operational excellence and incident management.
• Assist in proactive monitoring and alerting improvements to ensure high availability and operational integrity.
• Identify technology improvements that would improve the efficiency and autonomy of the system, and the user experience.

Requirements:

• 7-10 years of experience in supporting financial enterprise products, with experience of 24x7 operations.
• A strong understanding of the importance of monitoring systems to ensure they are operational and available, with the ability to support proactive monitoring efforts for high availability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, comfortable engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• High energy and a proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in a regulated or compliant environment.
• Bilingual English and Mandarin, as the role requires regular communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in supporting enterprise systems, including:
• Application services such as Java and Web UI frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Angular), as well as messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, ZeroMQ, ActiveMQ) within an enterprise application architecture.
• Database (MySQL, Postgres, MariaDB, InfluxDB, KDB+).
• Log and metric collection and processing (ELK, Opensearch).
• Scripting or coding experience using Bash, Java, Groovy, Node.js, AngularJS, Python, to automate operations.
