We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team and help shape our people strategy in a healthcare-focused environment.

Position Summary

The Human Resources Manager will oversee and enhance HR functions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with healthcare regulations. This individual will play a key role in cultivating a culture of excellence, and developing and managing HR policies, employee relations, and organizational development initiatives, all tailored to meet the unique needs of the behavioral health industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Strategy: Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the company’s mission and goals, ensuring support for a growing, multi-state behavioral health organization.
  • Talent Management: Oversee onboarding, retention, and succession planning processes with a focus on employee engagement, clinical excellence, and turn-over.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, handling employee relations matters with sensitivity and professionalism while fostering a positive workplace culture.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with healthcare-specific regulations, such as HIPAA and Joint Commission standards, and state-specific labor laws affecting multi-state operations.
  • Performance Management: Oversee the performance review process, provide coaching to leaders on effective feedback, and implement tools to measure and enhance employee productivity and engagement.
  • Policy Development: Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures in alignment with healthcare regulations and best practices.
  • Organizational Development: Collaborate with leadership to address training needs and implement programs to enhance leadership capabilities, support professional growth and clinical excellence.
  • HR Metrics & Reporting: Monitor and analyze HR metrics to assess organizational health, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Culture & Inclusion: Champion culture and inclusion initiatives to create a workplace where all employees thrive.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of HR management experience, with at least 3 years in a healthcare or a related field.
  • Deep understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and healthcare regulations.
  • Proven success in developing and implementing strategic HR initiatives in a dynamic, multi-state environment.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws, with specific experience in healthcare compliance.
  • Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage and resolve complex employee relations issues with discretion and integrity.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and other HR tools; familiarity with Paycom is a plus.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is preferred.
