Summary

Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a Human Resources Supervisor for a prestigious client located in Nevada. This supervisory position is integral to maintaining, developing, and administering all phases of human resources, ensuring a positive team member experience. The Human Resources Supervisor will collaborate with the Executive Team to support business goals and oversee day-to-day HR operations. This role is a full-time, onsite position, responsible for enhancing team member relations and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Paycom database for new hire onboarding paperwork, including data entry, reference checks, E-Verify, and immigration compliance.
  • Assist with compiling timecard information for payroll processing and handle a high volume of inbound calls and emails.
  • Arrange meetings, compile reports, compose letters/VOEs, and handle special projects as directed.
  • Administer benefits and open enrollment, ensuring a positive HR experience for every employee.
  • Support onboarding functions and address employee issues with a positive and supportive approach.
  • Assist with internal and external job movement, prepare job postings, and maintain job descriptions.
  • Assist with employee relations, including gathering data and conducting investigations.
  • Develop and implement HR best practices and direct FMLA, ADA, and workers' compensation inquiries.
  • Assist with inquiries related to benefits, retirement, and compensation, routing questions appropriately.
  • Support additional HR duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Management experience is essential.
  • Must demonstrate initiative, ability to think critically, and take constructive action independently.
  • Well-versed in benefits administration, employee relations matters, leave programs, and legal compliance.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills, highly organized, dependable, and self-motivated.
  • Strong oral and written communication with excellent business interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule if necessary and work independently as well as in a team.
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint software programs.

Minimum Education/Experience

Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, or a related field is preferred. HR certification or equivalent related experience is considered. Candidates should have 2-5 years of recent experience in Human Resources or a related field.

Required Work Hours

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Additional Details

Salary range is $60,000 - $70,000 per year. This is a supervisory position requiring the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
