What you will do:
Provide ongoing labs support to include deployment of new setups, maintenance, and troubleshooting of RF equipment, Linux servers and networking.
Perform network administration including performing configuration of switching, installing cable and racking equipment.
Maintain and support development infrastructure including deploying servers.
Perform hardware assembly, maintenance, debugging, and corrective actions (e.g. recover failed disks).
Create, update, edit IT support tickets and inventory system.
Create and maintain documents containing policies and procedures.
Willingness and ability to quickly learn new technologies.
Troubleshooting: RF connectivity, root android phones, optic networks and interconnected systems.
Able to perform physical tasks for a full day, including working with ladders and heavy equipment
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with rack construction, hardware assembly
Laptops, Servers, Cell Phones – repair and prepare
What you must have:
Minimum of 3-5 years experience working in a development lab environments
Hands on knowledge with servers and switching, DHCP, routing, netplan configuration and VLAN’s.
Understanding of TCP/IP protocols, sub netting, IP addressing, and network layers (OSI model).
Configuration and troubleshooting of DNS servers for name resolution, record types, and DNS propagation.
Identifying and resolving issues like IP conflicts, DNS failures, routing issues, and physical layer (cabling, switches) problems.
Reviewing and interpreting logs (syslog, event viewer, etc.) to diagnose system or network issues.
