DIRECT REPORTING: Senior Sales Manager- Commercial Marine APAC


We are seeking an experienced Key Account Sales Manager to join our team. The role will be responsible for overseeing all marine sales activities within the assigned APAC territory. The role involves supporting the sales and distribution network for our globally recognized brands, including Allweiler, IMOab, and Houttuin, known for their reliability and high performance across various vessel types. Key responsibilities include managing sales efforts, achieving bookings targets in line with the company’s strategic goals and annual sales budget, and driving growth in the region.

Additionally, the position requires monitoring new technical developments and promoting innovative production applications within the OEM market.


You Will:

  • Strengthen the commercial marine sales Key account (Direct business shipyards and key OEM customers)
  • Close work with Shipyards to collect the updated project information and market trend
  • Coordinates technical support, quotations to OEM’s and shipyards.
  • Meets with shipyards and OEMs in maintaining high level business relationships and negotiating long-term agreements.
  • Implement sales strategies for new market opportunities.
  • Represents the Company at trade shows, seminars and/or other promotional events.
  • Provides product training and advises shipyards /design offices and distributors on new products and applications.
  • Keeps track of market sales statistics and economic developments to formulate sales plans
  • Monitors the activities and products of the competition.
  • Internal supporting cross-functional team to fulfill the order process

You Have:

Qualifications Required:

  • Experience CM market
  • Experience selling direct and extensive experience working with a technical/engineered product serving complex accounts and channels.
  • Strong commercial skills including selling process, pricing, costing, discount structures, terms and conditions, sales strategy development/execution, negotiating and sales proposal development.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of international markets.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of Mechanical Equipment

Education:

  • A 4-year bachelor’s degree in either Business Management or Engineering is required.
  • Work Experience:
  • Minimum of 10 years progressive sales experience, preferably in an engineered components and rotating equipment environment supporting commercial marine markets of Asia Pacific (with a strong focus on Korea, China, Singapore, etc.)

Language skills

  • Fluent in English, and other language skills will be a plus

Working Location

  • Mainly preferred based at Shanghai or Weihai China,
  • Up to 50% domestic and international travel.
