Job Overview

The Key Account Executive will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with key clients in the HoReCa sector. This role focuses on increasing sales and market share for our products by understanding client needs, delivering exceptional service, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the HoReCa market, excellent negotiation skills, and a passion for the coffee industry.


Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the HoReCa sector.
  • Act as the main point of contact for key accounts, addressing their needs and ensuring a high level of customer service.
  • Regularly meet with clients to discuss their needs, review product performance, and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.


Sales and Revenue Growth:

  • Achieve sales targets by developing and executing account strategies that drive revenue growth.
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and explore potential partnerships with new clients in the HoReCa sector.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adjust sales strategies as needed.


Product Knowledge and Promotion:

  • Develop a thorough understanding of our coffee products and services to effectively promote them to clients.
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions for clients to enhance their understanding and usage of our products.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop promotional materials and campaigns tailored to the HoReCa market.


Negotiation and Contract Management:

  • Assist and participate in tender, assist in the negotiating the terms of contracts, pricing, and terms with key clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Manage the contract lifecycle, ensuring all agreements are up-to-date and compliant with company policies.
  • Handle any disputes or issues that arise, working to resolve them in a timely and satisfactory manner.


Reporting and Analysis:

  • Monitor and report on account performance, including sales figures, customer satisfaction, and market share.
  • Prepare regular reports for management, highlighting successes, challenges, and areas for improvement.
  • Work with other divisions to identify opportunities for cross-selling or targeted collaboration.


Collaboration and Teamwork:

  • Work closely with other departments, including marketing, operations, and customer service, to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Participate in team meetings, sharing insights and feedback to help drive overall business success.
  • Assist in the training and development of junior sales staff as needed.

 

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree education
  • 3-5 years of experience in key account management, sales, or business development, preferably within the HoReCa.
  • Strong understanding of the coffee industry and the HoReCa market.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing key accounts.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
