Summary

The Organization

Our client is a leading Latin American poultry producer, with years of growing market presence in the US retailer and food service channels. The company’s large production and headquarter facilities in its home country provides support to its sales offices in most global markets. The company’s US office is comprised of a more tight-knit sales team, with the logistical and administrative support necessary to sell, import and distribute the company’s products throughout the US.


Position Objectives

Based in Los Angeles sales office, the KAM will manage ongoing sales transactions (order placement and fulfillment) and the corresponding customer interactions with assigned customers in the company’s existing customer base. The objective is to receive new customers secured by outside sales executive, building long-term partnerships with new clients and growing volume of business with assigned client base. Specifically, this involves:

  • Contributing to the satisfaction, retention and growth of business with company’s customers, as assigned.
  • Ensuring timely and complete interaction with company systems and processes, for assigned client transactions.
  • Ensuring the follow up and resolution of exception situations that arise with customers’ orders and their fulfillment.


Required Experience and Competencies

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of work experience, preferably in a sales-related capacity, ideally in a food or consumer products supplier selling to businesses (B2B). In addition to very strong relationship-building attitude and demeanor, the ideal candidate will also have operational exposure, as relates to systems and processes, and be detail-oriented in terms of documenting and follow up of pendings. Most importantly, candidates must demonstrate being strongly self-motivated, results-oriented, fast learner, collaborative, and resilient to a dynamic environment.


In addition, candidates must have:

  • Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s in a business discipline preferred)
  • Computer Skills – MS Office Suite required – SAP strongly preferred
  • Excellent written and spoken English. Additionally, Spanish is a plus.
  • Willingness to commute to and work from the company’s Los Angeles office at least 3 days/week.
