Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated Junior Data Engineer to join our remote team.

In this role, you will help build, optimize, and maintain data pipelines that support business intelligence, analytics, and machine learning initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and maintaining scalable and reliable data pipelines
• Help integrate and clean data from various sources
• Support data warehousing and ETL/ELT processes
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers
• Ensure data quality, security, and accessibility
• Document data processes and technical workflows

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields (or equivalent experience)
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database management
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
• Understanding of data warehousing and ETL concepts
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Fluent in English; German skills are a plus
