Job Description:

We are looking for a Junior Data Engineer to join our data team and help build the infrastructure that powers data-driven decision-making. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals passionate about working with data pipelines, databases, and analytics tools in a collaborative environment.

You’ll work alongside experienced engineers and analysts, contributing to the development and optimization of our data architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines
• Work with data analysts and stakeholders to understand data needs
• Clean, process, and transform raw data into usable formats
• Support data integration from multiple sources into centralized storage
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and integrity through validation and monitoring
• Learn and apply modern data engineering tools and practices

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of SQL and familiarity with programming languages such as Python or Java
• Understanding of databases, ETL processes, and data modeling concepts
• Experience with data-related projects (academic, personal, or internship) is a plus
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) is advantageous
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
