Job Description

Publicis Sapient is looking for a detail-oriented Junior Automation Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring a solid foundation in quality assurance, with hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing. In this role, you ll collaborate closely with developers to ensure the functionality, performance, and reliability of a mission-critical application undergoing a transformation — from a legacy monolithic system to a modern Java and React-based architecture hosted on Microsoft Azure.

Qualifications

Your Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in quality assurance and testing, with a strong understanding of QA methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with both manual and automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cypress).
• Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
