OVERVIEW

Our client is a tech startup located at Wework Co-working space, District 1. They are trying to build a B2B online game platform, serving globally. They are looking for a Technical Architect to help them design the architecture & solutions for the projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design robust software architecture to support scalable, maintainable, and high-performing game services.
• Be involved in the Technical Team, and work together with the Web team and the Mobile team.
• Responsible for building up the system, architecture design, database design, and technology solutions for the project.
• Review code, and review solutions for the project.
• Solving technical issues, and developing workarounds and alternative solutions.
• Support, train, and build programmer’s skill in the company.
• Continuously research, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

REQUIREMENTS

• 8+ years in analyzing, designing, and developing large-scale software with ReactJS and NodeJS.
• 2+ years as a Technical Architect in a Java development environment.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript, with experience in both front-end and back-end frameworks.
• Solid knowledge of design patterns, clean code practices, coding standards, code reviews, and refactoring.
• Experience with unit testing, mocking libraries, and maintaining code coverage.
• Ability to lead technical support and training sessions.
• Detail-oriented and goal-driven mindset.
• Experience or knowledge in online gaming (a plus).
• Familiarity with SSO, microservice architecture, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and ElasticSearch.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes (K8s) and Docker.
• Experience in system monitoring and time-series databases (e.g., StatsD, InfluxDB, Graphite).
• Proficient with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Azure DevOps, Bamboo, Bitbucket, or similar tools.
• Experience with cloud platforms like GCP, AWS, or Microsoft Azure.
• Good English skills: able to read, understand documents, and communicate fluently.
