IT Engineer

Osborne is seeking an experienced IT Engineer for a permanent position in South Dublin. The role involves providing helpdesk technical support to clients at an established MSP. The opportunity also includes transitioning into a project role with on-site customer visits. Key requirements include strong communication skills and proficiency in supporting users on the Microsoft365 stack.

Responsibilities:

• Offer remote technical support to clients
• Provide on-site IT support at customer locations, covering networking, IT security, systems administration, and hardware installation
• Assemble PCs and laptops
• Perform "health checks" on existing IT systems
• Administer Office 365 (including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams) and Azure
• Deploy and oversee network infrastructure
• Handle IT security and firewalls
• Manage backup systems and disaster recovery
• Implement Mobile Device Management and Multi-Factor Authentication using Intune

Requirements:

• Prior experience in roles like Field Engineer, Systems Engineer, or Systems Administrator
• Proficiency in M365, Azure, Active Directory, and Network Support
• Possession of professional certifications such as Cisco, Microsoft, or CompTIA would be advantageous
