We are currently looking for an IT Operations Manager to join our IT team based in Paiania.
By joining this role, you’ll play a vital part in our company’s effort to support the daily operations of the IT Operations division, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery, coordinating projects, and managing IT Operations resources.
Your role will encompass:
Assist with the day-to-day management of IT infrastructure and systems, ensuring all IT services are running efficiently and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Work closely with IT teams to coordinate and track ongoing IT projects, ensuring deadlines are met, and resources are allocated appropriately.
Coordinate with third-party vendors for software/hardware procurement, service contracts, and issue resolution.
Maintain accurate records of IT equipment, software, licenses, and user requests. Generate reports on system performance, service requests, and other relevant metrics.
Track and manage IT assets (hardware and software), including inventory, allocation, and disposal of outdated equipment.
Serve as a point of escalation for IT service requests and incidents, providing support to end users and working closely with the helpdesk team to resolve technical issues.
Oversee the monitoring of IT systems, including servers, networks, and applications. Ensure issues are identified, prioritized, and resolved.
Ensure IT operations comply with security standards through audits and work cross-functionally to implement solutions that align with business objectives.
What you bring to the role:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in IT operations with more than 2 years of specialized experience in systems administration (software/hardware).
Familiarity with network management, hardware troubleshooting, and operating systems, along with experience in IT asset management and tracking software, and knowledge of ITIL practices and frameworks is a plus.
Experience in IT infrastructure management, monitoring tools, helpdesk operations, and working with cross-functional teams while managing multiple tasks and projects.
Preferred qualifications include IT certifications such as CompTIA, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), or ITIL Foundation, along with experience in cloud services, virtualization technologies, and enterprise software systems.
Problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying potential issues and opportunities for improvement.
