We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Network Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering expert-level support, implementation, and management of both internal and client IT environments. As a key member of our Managed Services team, you will play a critical part in ensuring the availability, performance, and security of our customers' networks.

This position involves a combination of business-as-usual (BAU) support, project-based deployments, and collaboration with internal teams and external partners. It’s ideal for a driven individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and has a passion for problem-solving and continuous learning.

💼 Role: IT Network Engineer

What You'll Do

🔍 Monitor, analyze, and manage network and service performance to ensure timely fault restoration within SLA and internal standards

📡 Coordinate incident management activities related to upstream provider faults and service disruptions

⚙️ Drive continuous improvement across tools, hardware, and software used by the Network Team

🔧 Perform ongoing system maintenance to ensure high availability and performance for end users

🧠 Conduct root cause analysis and apply mitigation strategies to minimize outages and congestion

🤝 Liaise with carriers and internal technical teams for real-time reporting, long-term fault resolution, and enhancements to network systems

🗂️ Supervise and coordinate changes/outages, adhering to Ethan Group Change Management Guidelines

📚 Maintain vendor certification levels as directed

📍 Attend customer sites and internal meetings when required

🕒 Log accurate timesheets daily and participate in an on-call roster as needed

🎯 Meet and maintain personal KPIs to support team and business goals

What We’re Looking For

✅ 6+ years of hands-on experience in IT, with a strong focus on network engineering

🎓 CCNP (or higher) in Routing & Switching or Security

🔥 FCP (or higher) in Fortinet

🔐 Deep expertise in Cisco, Palo Alto, Meraki, FortiNet, and Cisco ASA

🌐 Advanced Skills In Key Technologies

• Telco/ISP WAN services (Ethernet, Fibre, DSL, VDSL, Copper)
• Firewall Security
• Protocols: iBGP, eBGP, OSPF, EIGRP, DMVPN, IPSEC
