The Information Technology (IT) resides within the Information Systems group and is responsible for the management, operations, maintenance, cloud technology and security for the IT infrastructure that supports the organization.

Job Brief

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer to join our team. As a fresher, you will be responsible for monitoring network performance, managing alerts, and handling escalation processes to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our IT infrastructure.

What You Will Be Doing

• Continuously monitor network performance and system health using industry-standard tools.
• Set up and manage alerts to promptly identify and respond to network issues.
• Follow established escalation procedures to ensure timely resolution of incidents.
• Diagnose and resolve network-related issues, coordinating with senior engineers when necessary.
• Maintain detailed records of incidents, resolutions, and network configurations.
• Generate regular reports on network performance and incidents.
• Provide first-level support for network-related issues and escalate complex problems as needed.
• Collaborate with other teams and vendors to ensure seamless network operations.
  
  

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills & competencies

• Education – Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Knowledge and Skills: -
• Basic understanding of network protocols, monitoring tools, and IT infrastructure
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Ability to create logic flow charts and process diagrams based on client needs.
