As a channel-focused company, we partner with VARs (Value Added Resellers), Technology Services Distributors, Trusted Advisors, and Managed Service Selling Organizations to discover and drive new business.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an Inside Account Executive to support our outside sales team and work closely with our channel partners to generate new leads and sales opportunities. This role is critical to the success of our sales efforts, as you will assist in qualifying leads, scheduling appointments, and ensuring smooth communication between sales reps, partners, and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Qualification & Opportunity Creation
Qualify inbound leads and pass them to the outside sales team, ensuring all relevant details are captured
Leverage channel partners, including VARs and distributors, to uncover additional sales opportunities
Support lead generation activities through cold calling, email campaigns, and follow-ups
Channel Partner Collaboration
Assist channel partners with information and resources to support their sales efforts
Work with outside sales reps to ensure smooth handoffs between inside and outside sales teams
Support channel partners with any administrative needs to facilitate sales opportunities
Customer Engagement
Manage communication with potential clients, answering questions and providing introductory information
Follow up with leads and prospects to keep them engaged throughout the sales cycle
CRM & Reporting
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads, opportunities, and customer interactions in CRM
Track and report on lead generation performance and provide insights to improve the sales process
Qualifications And Experience
1-3 years of experience in inside sales, sales support, or customer service
Experience working with channel partners (e.g., VARs, distributors) is a plus
Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is preferred
