Job Description ::

Configure, administer, troubleshoot, and maintain IBM DataPower and API Connect (APIM) appliances.
Manage API gateways, including access control, security, rate limiting, and API lifecycle (design, deployment, versioning, monitoring).
Integrate systems/applications using DataPower (XSLT, XPATH, messaging protocols).
Provide advanced technical support, diagnostics, and troubleshooting for DataPower, APIM, and related middleware technologies.
Automate server/VM configuration and environment infrastructure builds (preferably using Ansible or equivalent).
Install and configure DataPower appliances, perform certificate and crypto object management.
Maintain API security (Oauth 2.0, OpenID, JSON Web Token, x509, JOSE), authentication, authorization, and IP security setups.
Collaborate on middleware integration (J2EE, SOA, web services) and maintain understanding of network concepts (F5 load balancers, SSL certificates).
Analyze and resolve mid-tier/mainframe infrastructure issues.

Required Skills & Experience

9+ years’ relevant experience; minimum 6+ years’ DataPower & API Connect admin/support.
Expert scripting/automation (BASH, Python, or Ruby).
Extensive experience with IBM DataPower (XI52, APIC 10.x preferred) and related middleware tools (MQ Series, IBM Sterling Gateway, Tomcat, Control M).
Strong UNIX/Linux experience (RHEL preferred).
In-depth knowledge of SDLC, API security standards, and general security concepts (PKI, TLS, encryption).
Ability to automate configuration, troubleshoot domain application issues, and manage certificates/encryption.
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, IBM SaaS), Ansible, and other IBM middleware a plus.
Strong hands-on technical, architecture, and troubleshooting skills.
Java/J2EE programming background is a plus.
