Summary

TIAG is hiring an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to join our team in support of the Defense Health Agency (DHA) Medical Device Information Security Support (MDISS) contract, located in Frederick, MD. Candidates must possess an active Secret Clearance to be considered. This position is primarily remote.

This work is expected to start in August 2025.

The ISSO / RMF Analyst shall provide hands-on cybersecurity support for DHA medical device systems and Platform IT, focused on RMF lifecycle activities, continuous monitoring, vulnerability management, compliance reporting, and cybersecurity documentation development.

Primary Responsibilities Will Include

  • Developing and maintaining RMF authorization packages in eMASS, including SSPs, RARs, POA&Ms, and SARs.
  • Conducting monthly vulnerability scans using ACAS and document findings.
  • Updating and tracking POA&Ms; monitoring closure timelines and manage risk acceptance documentation.
  • Supporting security control implementations and DHA-specific cybersecurity requirements.
  • Performing quarterly Continuous Monitoring reporting and control validations.
  • Assisting in cybersecurity incident response and reporting efforts.
  • Coordinating directly with system owners, ISSMs, cybersecurity leadership, and engineering teams.


Required Qualifications And Experience

  • Minimum of four (4) years of direct RMF and cybersecurity operations experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Computer Science, or related field
  • Active DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+, CySA+, CCNA Security)
  • Completion of RMF for DoD IT training
