  • Provide most cost effective solution for all indirect materials to support operations / business needs
  • Lead supplier selections, price & contract negotiations
  • Build knowledge of tools, equipments, facilities, packaging, high exausing materials, etc., be expert in most sub-categories
  • Manage indirect materials by categories, set up and keep improving category strategies to fulfill business needs
  • Build concrete and sustainable supplier base, manage supplier performance
  • Ensure deployment of cost reduction actions for indirect materials to achieve saving objectives
  • Consolidate common categories among all China locations to bring maximum benefit for the region
  • Build effective and sustainable indirect material purchasing mechanisms, procedures, and standards
  • Stay abreast of market trends and proactively search for better products and services in a cost-effective manner
  • Manage budgets including capex budget aligning with finance
  • Have strong project and process management concept to develop cross functional processes to promote communication efficiency
  • Participate in ad hoc projects in case needed
  • Be prepared for internal and external audits, ensure no compliance risk.
