Menatek Defense Technologies, a leading engineering and manufacturing company serving the global defense industry for over 30 years, is looking for an experienced Import, Export & Logistics Specialist to join our growing team.

In this key role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the company’s international trade and logistics operations in full compliance with legal regulations and corporate objectives. You will act as the bridge between our supply chain activities and global partners to ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant shipments across borders.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor all import and export operations end-to-end
• Ensure compliance with all customs, freight, insurance, and incentive procedures
• Prepare and manage all related documents including ATR, EUR.1, certificate of origin, commercial invoices, and shipping papers
• Coordinate with freight forwarders and customs brokers to secure smooth and timely deliveries
• Track regulatory updates in foreign trade, customs, and incentive systems (e.g., Eximbank, DİİB) and ensure proactive alignment
• Manage logistics performance to optimize delivery times, minimize costs, and ensure full legal compliance
• Monitor data and processes via ERP systems (e.g., stock, shipment, purchase orders)
• Provide regular reporting on logistics and foreign trade KPIs to senior management
• Collaborate closely with Procurement and Finance departments as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in İİBF, International Trade, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in international logistics and foreign trade operations (preferably in the defense, manufacturing, or automotive sectors)
• In-depth knowledge of customs legislation, foreign trade regulations, and international transportation procedures
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP or Logo) and foreign trade software
• Advanced proficiency in English (C1 or above – reading, writing, and speaking)
• Strong coordination, planning, and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally; valid driver’s license required
