Bilingual HR Business Partner Role:
The HR Business Partner will be a strategic and operational HR leader, supporting both office and plant employees.
Thrive in a manufacturing setting with a strong employee relations background, and navigate unionized environments confidently.
Display a passion for building structure, coaching junior HR staff, and driving cultural change.
Serve as the primary HR point of contact for plant and office employees, partnering with leadership on HR strategy and operations
Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, investigations, and corrective actions while ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws.
Lead union-related activities, including responding to grievances, participating in negotiations, and ensuring adherence to the collective bargaining agreement.
Act as a change agent and driver of process improvement across HR functions, promoting a modern and proactive approach to people management.
Support and coach frontline supervisors on HR best practices, employee communications, and performance management.
Partner with recruiting staff on full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning.
Oversee benefits communications and serve as a liaison for employee benefit questions in partnership with the benefits specialist.
Collaborate with other HR team members to align on priorities and support day-to-day operations.
Provide HR reporting, track compliance metrics, and maintain accurate documentation and employee records.
Bilingual HR Business Partner Background Profile:
7+ years of progressive HR experience with demonstrated impact in manufacturing environments
Direct experience supporting unionized workforces and handling union-related employee relations matters
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written)
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build credibility and influence at all levels of the organization
Proven ability to operate independently and thrive in evolving, fast-paced environments
Strong understanding of employment law, compliance, and HR best practices
Passion for employee development, organizational culture, and continuous improvement
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
