We are looking for a Human Resources and Office Administrator to oversee and execute daily office administration and operations for both of our offices. This position also provides comprehensive human resources administration support for our employees. This role is based in Richmond, VA, and is a hybrid position, with four days a week in the office.
Requirements
* Manage day-to-day office operations, including equipment, mail/deliveries, and scheduling meetings as needed. Serve as the point of contact for all office-related needs.
* Collaborate with building management, vendors, and service providers to address building maintenance issues and facility improvement plans.
* Maintain an orderly office environment in compliance with human resources policies and company culture.
* Organize and facilitate employee events and meetings, including travel arrangements for staff.
* Assist with onboarding new employees by preparing workspaces and conducting new hire orientations.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS system, including time off tracking.
* Manage benefits administration activities, including annual enrollment and coordination with brokers.
* Provide administrative support for recruiting and hiring activities.
Qualifications:
* At least 2 years of proven experience in office administration, human resources, or a related role.
* Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or related field of study, or equivalent work experience.
* Strong organizational and planning skills
* Knowledge of office administration practices and procedures.
* Strong technical proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
* Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working with Paylocity or a similar HRIS (Human Resources Information System) is a plus.
