Job Summary The HRIS Analyst supports the administration, maintenance, and optimization of Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), with a primary focus on UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group). Working across two affiliated organizations in a shared services model, this role ensures HR systems are accurate, efficient, and aligned with business needs. The HRIS Analyst will collaborate with HR, IT, and business partners to drive data integrity, streamline processes, and provide timely reporting and insights to support strategic decision-making. This role also contributes to system upgrades, new feature implementations, user training, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the overall HR technology experience for staff and stakeholders. Responsibilities Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities * Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot the HRIS systems (UKG), ensuring data accuracy, integrity, consistency, and security across all HR platforms. * Generate recurring and ad hoc HR reports, dashboards, and metrics to support compliance, decision-making, and organizational planning. * Support the implementation of system upgrades, enhancements, and new modules, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to operations. * Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to identify system issues, troubleshoot, and deliver functional improvements. * Serve as a subject matter expert by providing training, job aids, and guidance to HR team members and end users on HR systems. * Establish, document, and maintain HRIS-related processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for continuous process improvement. * Analyze HR data and generate insights to inform business and HR decision-making. * Monitor compliance with data privacy regulations and internal HR data policies, ensuring all systems adhere to legal and company standards. * Create, implement, and deliver training programs to HR team members and end users to maximize system functionality and efficiency. * Assist with internal audits, respond to data requests, and ensure that HRIS systems are fully prepared for audit cycles. * Identify opportunities to improve HR operations through system optimization, automation, and data-driven insights. * Collaborate with HR and business stakeholders to understand system needs, translating those needs into functional requirements and system enhancements. * Participate in user testing, system updates, and ongoing support for system enhancements and updates. * Demonstrate positive people service interactions and ensure that all interactions align with HaloMD's values and team culture. Qualifications Education and/or Experience * Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field; HRIS certifications or equivalent work experience is preferred. * Minimum of 3 years of experience working with HRIS systems (HCM, LMS, ATS), preferably with UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group). * Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and dashboard creation, with a strong ability to interpret and present data-driven insights to support decision-making. * Experience with project coordination, process mapping, and process optimization, including the ability to lead system upgrades, enhancements, and cross-functional projects. * Strong understanding of HR workflows and processes, and the ability to translate business needs into system solutions. * Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance standards related to HR data management. * Excellent communication and training skills, with experience in delivering system training and creating user documentation. Physical and Mental Demands This position will spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers.
