Description

We are looking for a skilled and meticulous HR Generalist to join our team on a contract basis in Colton, California. This role is designed to provide essential support to our HR department during a leave of absence, ensuring seamless operations and compliance. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in HR practices and the ability to manage high-volume tasks with precision and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive audits of employee records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Organize and process various employment-related documents, ensuring proper classification and completeness.
• Follow up with employees to collect missing signatures on critical policies and forms.
• Update and maintain employee data within relevant HR systems.
• Generate detailed HR reports to support project objectives and deadlines.
• Assist with document retrieval for litigation-related purposes while maintaining confidentiality.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline policy documentation and data validation.
• Ensure adherence to federal and organizational employment regulations during all processes.
• Provide general administrative support to the HR team to maintain operational efficiency.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role.
• Familiarity with HR systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Dayforce, or Ceridian.
• Strong understanding of federal employment laws and compliance requirements.
• Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication and follow-up abilities to ensure task completion.
• Ability to work independently and make informed decisions on document management.
• Experience managing benefit functions and handling employee relations.
