Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and personable Helpdesk Support Specialist (Tier 1/2) to join our international IT team. This role will provide essential technical support to end users and assist with various IT projects in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Position Details

• Work Arrangement: Hybrid (selectable days to choose WFH)
• Location: Tokyo, Japan

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to end users
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
• Support cloud-based systems and applications
• Deploy applications and manage user access
• Configure and support VPN connections
• Administer SharePoint and other Office 365 services
• Collaborate with the international IT team on various projects
• Document solutions and maintain knowledge base

Required Qualifications

• Native or business-level Japanese language proficiency (essential)
• Experience in helpdesk/technical support roles (Tier 1/2)
• Strong knowledge of Office 365 administration and troubleshooting
• Experience with cloud-based services
• Proficiency in deploying applications and managing updates
• Knowledge of VPN configuration and troubleshooting
• SharePoint administration skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills

Desired Qualifications

• English language skills nice to have
• Experience with InTune and mobile device management
• Security incident response experience
• IT certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, etc.)
