The Healthyhorns finance team supports these centers and others who are components of the Health & Well-Being Department within the Division of Student Affairs. Purpose Serve as an accounting and financial reporting analyst for Health and Well-Being department and the programs that fall under this portfolio. Responsibilities Master the University’s financial systems, policies, controls, and regulations Serve as a resource for other staff with budget and accounting issues Record or approve financial transactions Maintain account structures and coding schemes Maintain efficiency of financial processes Prepares financial reports from multiple data sources Prepare budgets Manage account balances Assist with business contracting Maintain familiarity with operations and staff in departments supported Provide support to the Finance Director as assigned Perform related duties as required Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, information systems, or related field Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel Accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills Effective communication, oral and written. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate. Preferred Qualifications Experience with PowerBI and Microsoft Outlook Experience with data management Familiarity with UT accounting, purchasing, and payroll systems Salary Range $54,000 + depending on qualifications Working Conditions Works around general office equipment, repetitive motion with keyboard, some bending, lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds, anything over with assistance.
