On Behalf of our client we are looking for an experienced Health Benefits Analyst to join their team near Glenview, Illinois. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating group insurance renewals for internal employees and clients.

Compensation: $75k-$95k

Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401k, Unlimited PTO

Hybrid 3 days onsite, 2 days WFH

8am-5pm or 7am-4pm

Illinois Health Insurance License required

Responsibilities:

• Gather and submit employee census data to various insurance providers
• Review health benefits renewal information, including premium changes, plan modifications, and relevant market developments.
• Create comparative analyses of group health plans
• Advise employer clients on renewal strategies, cost management solutions, and potential plan improvements.
• Collaborate with benefits providers, brokerage partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain compliance

Requirements:

• 3 or more years of group health renewal experience with a broker.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Experience in employee benefits analysis, group insurance underwriting, or broker services.

• Illinois Health Insurance License required.

• Strong analytical and financial skills to interpret insurance data and plan pricing.

•Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and HRIS/benefits administration platforms.

•Excellent communication and presentation skills for client interactions.

•Knowledge of health insurance regulations, carrier policies
