Job Title: Head Pickleball Professional Location: Lake Geneva Tennis & Pickleball, Lake Geneva WI (www.lakegenevatennis.com) Job Type: Full-Time About Us: Lake Geneva Tennis & Pickleball is a premier sports facility that offers top-tier tennis and pickleball programming for all ages and abilities. We have 10 indoor pickleball courts on our 5 tennis courts and have recently built a brand new 6 court indoor pickleball facility with a 1000+ membership base. We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Pickleball Professional to lead our instructional team, teach players of all levels, and oversee other instructors. Position Overview: The Head Pickleball Professional will be responsible for providing top-notch instruction to players of all ages and skill levels, while also managing and supervising a team of pickleball instructors. You will play a key role in growing the pickleball program, organizing clinics, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality instruction across the facility. Key Responsibilities: Instruction & Coaching: Provide engaging and informative lessons to players of all levels, focusing on skill development, strategy, and player improvement. Supervision of Instructors: Oversee and mentor a team of pickleball instructors, ensuring consistent, high-quality coaching is delivered. Assist in scheduling, training, and evaluating instructors. Program Development: Work with management to develop new and innovative programs, clinics, and leagues that cater to a broad range of players. Member Engagement: Build strong relationships with members, encouraging participation, and creating a welcoming and inclusive environment. Event Support: Assist in the coordination of pickleball events, such as tournaments, exhibitions, and social play, ensuring they run smoothly. Facility Collaboration: Collaborate with facility management to ensure the courts and equipment are maintained at a high standard. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in pickleball instruction and share knowledge with the coaching team. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of pickleball teaching experience with leadership responsibilities. Certification: USAPA (USA Pickleball Association), PPR (Professional Pickleball Registry) or IPTPA (International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association) certification preferred. Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills with the ability to work well in a team environment. Passion: A deep love for the game of pickleball and a desire to help players improve. Flexibility: Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on programming needs.
