This individual will also drive innovation and excellence within the company’s operations. Key responsibilities include managing the proposal process to align with company and client goals, overseeing the operations to distribute workload evenly, resolving bottlenecks, and ensuring efficient job progression. The role involves managing financial aspects, including P&L, identifying cost-saving measures, forecasting revenue, and driving towards commercial targets. Team management is crucial, with an emphasis on leadership, developing operations teams, and fostering strong relationships within the network. The role also requires proactive business development, process improvement, adherence to compliance and quality assurance, and effective issue management and resolution. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned leader with a minimum of 5 years in a comparable management role, possessing strong client management, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Commercial acumen and the ability to adapt to changing priorities are essential. Technical savviness, particularly with tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, is expected, alongside a service-oriented attitude and a commitment to excellence. The role demands a team player who can inspire and motivate, with strong negotiation skills and the ability to remain effective under pressure. Proficiency in English and Mandarin is required to communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders. Role Purpose The Head of Operations acts as a vital bridge, connecting and developing relationships with key business leaders. This role is central to identifying and scoping potential projects where TAG's global network and resources can be leveraged, ensuring seamless project progression from conception to completion. A key focus is on strict adherence to timelines and quality control, while also ensuring each project's profitability aligns with TAG's financial objectives. The incumbent will drive innovation and excellence, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness across operations, ensuring TAG navigates the complexities of a global operation with a focus on both immediate and long-term success. Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Business Development
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the technological direction of the industry and how these advances will benefit all clients
  • Identifies and develops business opportunities in line with the TAG China’s business plan
  • Proposal Management:
  • Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company's and goals. Drive initiatives that contribute to long-term operational excellence.
  • Track proposal progress against deliverable timelines and provide regular status updates to stakeholders
  • Act as the custodian of our central knowledge library and ensure all relevant business development collateral is up to date
  • Clear communication and articulation of competitive advantages to internal and external stakeholders
  • Team Management:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team. Ensure effective collaboration and communication across departments.
  • Establish, develop and maintain long term relationships with key senior stakeholders within the network
  • Proactively develop new relationships across new account teams as appropriate
  • Continuously refine the Tag proposition for key Account Management teams
  • Process
  • Ensure results of the customer satisfaction survey are acted upon where necessary
  • Implement and use best practice principles
  • Implement and review local operating procedures manual
  • Operations
  • Being the first point of contact for all jobs, quotations and requests
  • First point of escalation for any issues arising from the Operation or Account Management teams
  • Ensure workload is fairly and even distributed within studio teams
  • Proactively address and resolve bottle necks within operations process
  • Managing the quality of the progression of the jobs with internal teams and suppliers through the various stages in the production lifecycle till delivery
  • Ensuring that orders will be processed in the most efficient manner available
  • Providing added value for key Account Management teams, like operation optimization, IT system enablement
  • Constantly re-engineer services to maximise profit in line with company best practice and client needs
  • Finance
  • Manage site P&L to meet budgets
  • Work with the MD and the team to identify cost saving initiatives and on-going added value services for the life of the contract
  • Forecast the revenue and profit for the project to support commercial discussion with key Account Management leaders
  • Working closely with the key Account Management teams to build knowledge of product pipeline, proactively gather feedback on quotations, and deal with any risks or issues at the earliest possible opportunity

Key Qualifications And Experience

  • Experienced senior leader – a good all-rounder with exceptional client management skills and presentation skills
  • Ability to build relationships and develop new businesses
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a management position in comparable business
  • Commercially astute and proven ability to grow accounts
  • Experience of working in an environment where priorities are constantly changing
  • Focus on project management, timely delivery and achievement of Key Performance Indicators
  • Self-motivated with high personal drive
  • Committed, resilient and prepared to work extra hours as required
  • Can manage change, and keep a clear perspective of end goals
  • Team player with a positive outlook who can inspire and motivate peers
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent judgment
  • Effective under pressure and able to deliver constantly
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills; articulate and a good listener
  • Strong computer skills (including Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
  • Excellent English and Mandarin communication skills
