Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a Head of Insurance Partnership and Distribution to join our fast growing insurance team!

Responsibilities

Partnership Development and Management

  • Support the Business Head of Insurance in developing and executing a partnership strategy that aligns with Mox's business objectives and those of our insurance partners.

  • Identify, source, evaluate, and pursue partnership opportunities to expand our portfolio of services, including establishing a selection framework and identifying strategic insurance partners.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all partnership-related inquiries and advocate for Mox with local, regional, and global stakeholders in the insurance sector and within the bank.

  • Facilitate key discussions with partners regarding commercial terms and models for deal assessment and completion.

  • Lead steering committee meetings to ensure the delivery of business plans, identify optimization opportunities for partnerships, and resolve critical outstanding issues. Ensure effective decision-making, escalation, and governance of partnerships.

  • Oversee daily operations with cross-functional teams, including partners' internal teams, to ensure successful collaboration. This includes managing portfolio mix, channel mix, product positioning, and delivery aligned with milestones.

  • Establish a unified program for delivery and execution, working closely with partners to drive effective and efficient business performance


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or insurance

  • 12+ years of experience in bancassurance transactions, partnership distribution, distribution proposition, business strategy, from insurance sector
  • Experience in retail banking and wealth management focus on bancassurance partnership strategy. Experience of mass market retail distribution models and channels. Knowledge of Hong Kong and Greater China insurance landscape.
  • IIQE or other equivalent is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Cantonese/Mandarin and English.
